Ashley Tisdale featured in “Sugar”

Pigtailed Ashley Tisdale shows off her pink pout as she covers the July 2009 issue of UK’s “Sugar” magazine. In the mag, the 23-year-old singer dished to the mag about her upcoming album, HSM and trying to leave behind her villainous character, Sharpay Evans.Ashley shared: “People only know me as my character [Sharpay]. So I’ve changed my hair and brought out the edgier me that I’ve never had the chance to express. I’m not trying to run away from HSM but I am growing up.”

The July issue of Sugar magazine hits stands May 27. Be sure to pick a copy up!

Taylor Lautner and Selena Gomez’s romance is very much on, according to witnesses. Taylena has become inseparable while filming in Vancouver. A witness, from their dinner date at The Keg restaurant earlier this month dished to “Life & Style”:

“Taylor walked Selena back to her hotel afterward. When she didn’t think anyone was around, she wrapped her arms around his neck and gave him a big kiss!”

Another insider overheard them while they were out on a sushi date, May 17. Taylor told Selena:

“You smell good. I smelled you on my pillow this morning.” Sel responded with a giggle.

Blake Lively said in an interview: “I’ve traveled all over Asia. I went to Thailand, India and Maldives. I stayed at the most incredible place in the Maldives called Soneva Gili and you have to take a boat to get to your glass-bottom hut in the middle of the water. It’s gorgeous!”

Ms. Lively didn’t stay idle while trekking through Asia. “I’m half-way to getting my scuba license and I went to cooking school in Thailand,” she shared. “I never get time to do things like cook and travel, so now I have two months off and I’m trying to take advantage of it as much as I can.”

When asked if she took back any sourveniers from Asia, Blake told JustJared.com: “Yeah, we actually rode elephants barefoot and washed them one-on-one in the river. It’s the most incredible thing I’ve ever done. I got a painting that an elephant made for me and that is definitely my most prized possession. And some beautiful jewelry from India!”

“Gossip Girls” bauty Taylor Momsen revealed her musical influences to “MTV”:

On her idols: “There’s a couple [of women I look up to]. I have so many female idols. Debbie Harry I think is brilliant and Joan Jett and Cherie Currie did their thing. And I think Courtney Love worked it out in her time. But Debbie Harry by far is just brilliant.”

On working on her music: “I write it all. I’m completely involved. You’re hearing my life, so you’re hearing my diaries. Have fun!”

On her album: ” I´m still working on all the little details. But we’re on tour right now with the Veronicas. You’re gonna get a little bit shellshocked. It’s definitely not what people are going to expect. It’s rock and roll. I love rock and roll, man. It feeds my soul. It’s what fits me and it’s how I can express myself.”

What does Taylor think of Leighton Meester’s music? “Well, it’s very different. I haven’t heard a ton of it, so I’ve heard only what you guys have heard online. It’s great. Everyone does their thing.”

But Miley tweeted after he uploaded it: people change. i saw that recently on youtube.

Real estate sources are buzzing that they’ll rent a Bridgehampton estate this summer known as “Sandcastle” which has everything from a recording studio to a two-lane bowling alley to a half-pipe for skateboarding. The house is available to rent for $500,000 for two weeks, it’s also on the market for $50 million.

The new Jonas Brothers song “Poison Ivy”, about a toxic relationship, isn’t about their ex-girlfriends Miley Cyrus, Selena Gomez or Taylor Swift (Because it’s obviously about Camilla Belle). Nick told “People”:

“It’s a song about how something may not be too good for you, but you keep going back to it because you can’t resist the urge, the itch, to go back to the person. I think that’s something people can relate to.”

Fans should not assume it’s about any specific person:

“Sometimes when we write songs, it’s not something we’ve been through. It’s something that we’ve seen someone else go through and we say, “Why don’t we write a song about that?”!”
